borkkkkkkkkkkkkk

2024 was extremely long for me, but I feel like I’m making progress with my goals. I want to experience more and harness the power and passion that everyone sees in me. I can do good (WICKED). Anyhoo, here is a collection of memorable moments of 2024:

January: Dogmando’s birth. He’s the best boy ever and I’m so glad we got him. He’s the light of my life and I learned that I can love both my children equally.

February: Arm and I went to a Valentines cooking class and the people there were super fun. One of them slapped Arm’s ass though because they thought he was someone else smh.

March: I played DND for the first time and it was super fun!! Shoutout to Memo for hosting and thank you for guiding us through your first time. I DM’ed later in the year and it’s incredibility hard. I recommend everyone try this activity once and do it with all your heart committed.

April: At work, we had a special game dev conference and I learned about technical artists. I got someone’s number and I learned what I wanted to do in the future. I think it would be fun to go in this direction as it is a blend of art and technology (I can use all the math knowledge I’ve accumulated throughout the years as well)

May: This is the month where I told my Seattle friends that I would be joining a new company and moving to the bay area. The goodbye train started and it was nonstop fun, adventure, and theorizing about the future. It felt like college graduation all over again. We went on long walks across the beach of the phallic Seward Park, took a boat to Bainbridge island for fish and chips, and tried every single flavor at our local Meadery. Oh, we also watched the tale of princess Kaguya and damn.

June: Arm and I did some legal activities in Stanley Park. It was his real first time and it was so much fun! Stanley Park is epic and the chicken tenders there made my day. I would rate it 10/10 on my Beli.

July: My temporary apartment had these car garages that moved automatically, and they would shift left and right and up and down. It was like a car sorting elevator type beat, and it was so unnecessary. You basically had to wait like 5 minutes to park and 5 minutes to drive out of the system. Fuck modernity bro, they did not cook here.

August: Attended PAX West for the first time and it was fun! We didn’t win anything in the among us prize booth, but we did pick up this really cool Undertale bag. The inner lining was impeccable. We tried to play bloomburrow two headed giant, but they didn’t have enough people. We ended up just playing commander with someone from Texas. Arm killed everyone in one turn because someone board wiped the turn before and Arm played rise of the dark realms…

September: We showed Hannah around Reno and went swimming in Tahoe, which was surprising really warm! We all thought we weren’t going to swim, so we mainly had whack outfits (sorry Annika). I swam in the pants I used to climb Mt. Fuji. They dried quicker than the one swimsuit someone else brought; I’ll continue to swim in pants from now on.

October: Patrize’s birthday had a bunch of yummy delicious juicy food. Everyone there was also very nice and it was just a solid moment. Thank you to Ramon and Patrize for hosting !!

November: One night some friends and I had Chinese food with chicken nuggets that had the same texture of McDonalds. We played board games and pulled the one ring out of an MTG box that my work partially paid for. Ended the night with some Netflix and chill uwu (we watched the legend of Korra because I hadn’t seen it yet)

December: I saw my mom laugh for an extended period and she was happy about my work’s free food. I know to me and my friends, my job is just a job, but my family is proud of how I turned out. I think they did a good job with me all in all. Thank you for everything! Sorry I betrayed y’all in a past life.

Before writing this, I went through my photos and so much happened. The worst part is that I know I didn’t really take that many photos, so who knows how many precious moments I’ve let slip through my fingers.

Looking forward, I’m excited for 2025 as it marks my lover era along with hopefully diving deeper into game development. Here is my 2025 bingo (you should make one too and we can all share and hold hands and roll in grass and write letters to congress)! I got the template from Canva (Classroom Bingo Worksheet in Colorful Illustrative Style by Rachel Mainero). Template Link

My prediction for the first bingo line is the 3rd middle row with the FREE space. If and when I get a bingo, I will treat myself with in-app purchases or Pokémon/MTG cards LMAO. When in doubt, whale it out !!!!!!
